River Oaks Community Centre -A Ice Surface
F.E. Hockey Powerskating & Skills Small Group Camp
Our Oakville exclusive small group camp features 1 on ice session and 1 off ice session each day. The on ice training will run between 4-5 pm, followed by an off ice movement/skills session from 5:20-6:20 pm. At check-in the players will receive their F.E. Hockey pro style jersey and F.E. Hockey off ice t-shirt. There will be fruit and bottled water available between the on ice and off ice session.
Everyday starts with 15 minutes of power skating, biomechanics, and dynamic edge work. Players will develop an understanding of how to efficiently carry their speed, generate power, and enhance their multidirectional movement. After warmup the training will shift towards the major skating component of the day. Everyday of training will also feature game speed stick handling/moves, passing/receiving, and goal scoring techniques. Every player in camp will have lots of individual dialogue and work with one of our coaches.
