F.E. Hockey Elite Series Stickhandling & Skills
Our Gävle (Skutskärs ishall) Christmas camp is centred around explosive stickhandling and moves. Advanced moves are more than just the ability to handle the puck, they require speed, balance, body control, power, and hockey IQ. As a mid season camp, players will be working on their acceleration and speed development from the very first training session. We want to push our players to the next level of explosive speed and power heading into the final stretch of the season. This camp will have a limited number of spots available to ensure the highest quality of individulized training.
Each ice session will start with 20-30 minutes of power skating, biomechanics, stickhandling technique, and dynamic edge work. Players will develop an understanding of how to efficiently carry their speed, generate power, and enhance their multidirectional movement. Stickhandling and moves will be implemented with all of the power skating techniques for a better practice to game transfer of skill. Every player in camp will have lots of individual dialogue and work with one of our coaches.
Between the ice sessions players will get a warm lunch, and also have a hockey specific off ice session which will correlate with the on ice skills and training.
Further information including the camp schedule and payment details will be emailed after filling out the pre camp registration form on this page. Since our holiday camps usually sell out, spots are not guaranteed until the camp fee has been paid.
